Summer stills - playtime in the garden
A glorious July evening spent designing tables in golden hour.
This is what I call play time. I’d spent a few weeks gathering materials from homewares stores ready for my evening in the garden. Why? To get those creative juices flowing. In just a couple of months we’ll be starting to create the concepts for our 2024 weddings. Our clients want a stylish wedding and it’s our job to bring this to life in Italy. However, we’re limited here to a small selection of furniture, linen and crockery - anything else must be hand made or purchased.
Our weddings are proudly highly personalised and unique to each couple. This playtime allowed me to see how we can elevate individual concepts using simple elements from high street brands. Even with styling budgets topping tens of thousands in ‘24 and beyond, to achieve real impact we need to think smart about what we’re using and where we’re sourcing.
