How I styled it: Erin & Rocco, Puglia

It’s no secret that wedding styling is one of my favourite parts of wedding planning. For me, wedding styling is a feeling. When you walk in to each space it should feel like the couple. The colours, the atmosphere and the touches are all their personalities.

Erin & Rocco’s wedding was an exciting challenge - a March wedding and our first time working at Masseria Le Torre in Puglia. When I put forward this bright palette as part of my initial moodboard, Erin & Rocco jumped at it and let my imagination run wild. A trust that I am always so grateful for, especailly as the couple were coming over from Canada and wouldn’t see their venue until their wedding week!

  1. The palette

I really wanted to wow Erin, Rocco and their guests and bring that warm Puglian vibe even in March. We led with yellows, golds and soft sandy tones to bring that warmth and cosiness.

The yellow worked for me because I knew from the relationship we’d built that Erin & Rocco were pure sunshine - a lovely, warm hearted couple, always smiling and positive and this colour suited their relationship and their personalities.

2. The lead flower

I’m a big fan of block colour and loved the idea of using yellow as boldly as possible. We used mimosa because it was seasonal but also progressive in it’s representation and celebration of women, in a week where not only was it Erin & Rocco’s wedding but women’s day, too.

3. The Dinner

For me, the most important part of the day creatively, this is where everything comes together. The decor is responsible for creating an atmosphere and what should be a unique and unforgettable dining experience.

We had dinner inside the ancient masseria with a setting for 45 guests. I wanted a modern feel for the dinner - simple and clean. We heavily leant in to the yellow but softened it with light florals, including white and tonal colours through the napkin and chairs.

We created a gorgeous mimosa menu with White Vines Studio and the star piece of this dinner? The overhead installation.

This setting made it more than just a dinner, this was a stand out once-in-a-lifetime dining experience.
