A lost table: Bright Delight
A year today will be Sophia & Arran’s wedding. It was moved from May 2020 for obvious reasons. This lost table isn’t so lost as we will be bringing something very similar to life (x 13 tables, 10 people per table!) on this day next year. We’re so excited.
For now, our table setting will have to do. I gathered a few bits from around the house and asked my husband Ben to design the stationery a year ahead. I bought some flowers from a local wholesaler and spent a lovely 30 mins or so arranging them. I’m sure you can tell, I enjoy the making of the tables as much as designing them in the first place!
This table is inspired by the incredible Lina Stores. Sophia & Arran told me about their trips here on our first meeting and how they adored the turquoise colour. Coincidentally very close to our W&W brand colours… anyway, Sophia always wanted this to come through in the wedding and we therefore designed a table with this colour way at the centre, further enhanced by authentic Italian elements and bright flowers to match.
Of course the wedding itself will look a little different, with a few more touches - to keep it a surprise for Sophia, Arran and their guests. It will certainly have the wow factor when set up at Villa Maiano, overlooking Florence.
Hurry up 2021!
