Our Clarity Calls are a quick and easy way to get your wedding dilemmas solved. Non-W&W couples have been using these calls to access our knowledge and advice each month.
Through these calls we’re really having an impact and we love it. So we wanted to share more on this.
JANUARY, CLARITY CALL WITH THERSE & STAN *
Therese got in touch with us after finding some wedding venues on lalista.com. She wanted our opinion on her shortlisted venues and what the wedding could be like at each one.
Ahead of the call I asked Therese to complete our pre-call questionnaire and send over all the info on the venues that she had shortlisted - as well as those she hadn’t. This info helped me to understand what T&S were looking for in their venue and what they might be overlooking in the venues they had chosen so far.
On the call I took Therese through a wedding budget template for each of the venues. We built each venues budget whilst discussing supplier options at each. Some had restrictions on layout or suppliers which influenced what the budget would look like.
We had a very detailed discussion and I followed up with some further supplier recommendations and videos of the venues that I had on my phone.
FEBRUARY, CLARITY CALL WITH BRENDEN AND SARAH
Brenden got in touch when him and Sarah were having trouble communicating with their wedding planner. They hadn’t got the support they’d expected in the time they’d been planning their wedding and were looking to understand firstly if this was normal and what they could do to take action and get their wedding where, in their gut, they knew it needed to be.
Again B&S completed our pre-call questionnaire and I was able to make the call as productive as possible. I played the role of detective and while we discussed their situation I was able to see the gaps in their planning - what they should have in place that’s missing, what planning areas have been overlooked and start to build a new timeline and budget for them to get their wedding back on track. After rescheduling their wedding twice, B&S still didn’t know whether their wedding was actually in suppliers diaries for this year…despite deposits being paid.
B&S went away with a clear action plan and understanding of what needed to happen and when. They felt empowered to ask things of their existing suppliers to make sure their wedding was the wedding they deserved. They also had a full and realistic budget for the first time in planning.
