A lost table: Amber

Welcome to the forth in our series of lost tables. This time one straight from our imagination while I had a few moments to spare before the child care window ended. Nothing like that sort of pressure to bring out ideas…

This style of table has been floating around in my head for a few weeks and I just had to bring it together with what I had at home and a few more flowers from the wholesaler. I love how the amber art deco pieces work with the romantic, fresh white of the roses and contrast against that charcoal napkin. In an ideal world I’d have peeled the roses so they form a larger more elegant, modern shape but there was no time for that.

I hope you enjoy these interesting contrasts of colours, shapes and styles as much as I do…
